What makes ARAB dates different?
Three things. They are 100% organic and grown with no chemical additives. They are hand-sorted grain by grain, so only perfect pieces make it into a tin. And they are traditionally hand-pressed using the old method, which is why the flesh stays dense and the sugar does not crystallise.
Is the syrup inside added sugar?
No. Nothing is added. The syrup is pure juice from the dates themselves, released naturally during pressing. There are no preservatives, no added sugars, and no artificial additives of any kind.
How is it packaged?
Every size comes in a premium airtight luxury tin. The seal holds the moisture and the natural syrup in, which is what keeps the dates soft. The gift bundles arrive as two sealed tins, each one standing on its own.
How do I store them, and how long do they keep?
Store at room temperature, not in the fridge. Cold makes the natural syrup set and changes the texture. Sealed and unopened, the tin keeps for more than two years. Once opened, more than a year. Ajwa is the exception and can be kept either at room temperature or refrigerated.
Which variety should I choose?
Choose Khalas for gifting: it is the largest and the Gulf standard. Choose Sukkari if the eater likes very sweet and very soft. Choose Sagai for a firmer date with a crisp tip.
